Cold Blue is Cole’s first release under his own name. Across the span of its 7 tracks, he spins a spider-like web of gauzy cotton bedding out of electric and acoustic guitars, before blessing them with fuzzed-out melodies while, just out of frame, the specter of lost love both chills and ignites a tender heart.

The album features contributions by occasional band members — brother Samuel Cole, cousin Joel Martin, and Mic Singh — as well as local songwriters Emily Wryn and Chris Lambert.
